Region
No. 2 of the International Police Association with profound
regrets and sadness announces the passing of Sergeant SDS
William H. Courtney, NYC-PD (Ret.) formerly of the Intelligence
Division.
Sgt. Bill Courtney was a long time member of the International
Police Association and was instrumental in the recognition of
the IPA by the New York City Police Department. Sgt. Courtney
was Past President of the NYPD Anchor Club "Knights of
Columbus", Past President of the American Legion Police Post 461
and Past President of the NYPD Committee of Police Societies.
Our condolences to his wife, Joan and his Son, William Courtney,
Ret. 1st Grade Detective, NYPD Intelligence Division. |

RUDOLPH A. DEUTSCH

Region No. 2 of the International Police Association, with
profound regrets and sadness announces the passing of Special
Agent Rudy Deutsch (Ret.), U.S. Internal Revenue Service.
Special Agent Rudy Deutsch was a long time member of the
International Police Association. Rudy was originally a member
of Region No. 2 New York City and in 1973, upon the founding of
Region No. 10 New Jersey, he transferred to the new region,
which covered his residence in Nutley, New Jersey.
Our condolences to
his wife, Doris Meredith Deutsch, who is also very active with
the International Police Association. We also remember the late
Ilsa Deutsch, Rudy’s first wife, who was a great assistant to
Rudy, when he held office as Treasurer, both on the Regional and
National levels.
